ABOUT CURl TALK
Hello curl friends - I am Joleigh. I am the founder of curl talk but I am also the traumatised curly girl. I stand for all the mistreated, misguided and wronged curly clients who have been put through bad hairdressing experiences. I become the person in my chair when cutting hair, thinking about how I have felt and would want to feel.
I am the first stylist in London trained and certified by Lorraine Massey - the founder of "the curly girl method" and Nubia Rezo - the founder of Rezo. I am also trained in the curlbycurl cutting technique as well as certified by Devacurl after training in New York. Additionally I have trained in various courses to master my colour techniques such as Pintura and Balyage. The curl talk cut is an interpretation of all of these specialised techniques, combined with over 15 years of experience in curls.
From founding the Curl talk salon in 2017 solo and trying to change curl experiences one at a time, I have now been able to grow a powerful and trusted team of 5! We are unmatched with our knowledge and care, as well as the education we give our clients through our bespoke service , customised to You!
